Delivered projects

We have begun delivering another bold project: CIP and Siemens Energy’s Panther Grove II

We have begun delivering the design and the control cabinets for the two 315 MVA, 345 kV generator step-up (GSU) transformers at Panther Grove II, a 500 MW wind farm in Illinois (U.S.). Both the design and the cabinets meet CSA and IEEE standards.

A giant clean-energy project in the U.S.: Alltec on board!

We are proud to announce the start of delivery for the Panther Grove II project, a partnership between CIP and Siemens Energy in Illinois, U.S.

This wind farm will deliver 500 MW, powering more than 157,000 homes with clean energy.

Alltec supplied the design and the control cabinets for the two 315 MVA, 345 kV GSU transformers, meeting CSA and IEEE standards.

Technical innovations

  • Two-pole 240 V, 300 A automatic transfer switch.
  • On-load tap changer control and paralleling (Beckwith, circulating-current method).
  • Rated for ambient temperatures from −40 °C to +40 °C (−40 °F to +104 °F).
